FIU Online “adopted” a school in Hialeah to support on their employee service day. With help from Hands on Miami, they were able to plant an orchid garden, update the staff lounge and paint a mural with me.
I sent a video to the North Twin Lakes staff explaining the project and encouraging their students to draw what makes their school special. From their scanned drawings, I was able to create a mural mock up and chalk an outline of the sketch. Then 20+ FIU Online employees brought the mural to life in exterior paint.
