First I worked with grades PK - 8 at Bayshore, visiting with each room for a 25 minute lesson on being a freelance artist and challenging the students to draw what they love about their school.

After each class, I collected the student drawings and sorted through them for highlights and themes. Next the student drawings were mocked up to fill 4 different walls that cascade through the hallways.

Finally, I painted the student drawings on the walls of the hallway. Over the three days of painting I heard so much terrific student feedback and left Bayshore with a mural that will be enjoyed for years to come.
